A Proud Day at Our University: Academic Recognition Ceremony Honors Excellence in Science, Art, and Research Projects

At Tarsus University, academics who made a difference through their outstanding achievements in science, art, research projects, and social contribution, as well as faculty members promoted to higher academic titles, were honored at a prestigious award ceremony.

The “2025 Academic Recognition Ceremony,” held at the Şehit İstihkam Üsteğmen Ozan Olgu Köreke Conference Hall, was attended by the Rector of Tarsus University, Prof. Dr. Ali Özen, vice rectors, academic and administrative staff, and many invited guests.

Achievements Crowned with Awards

Following the opening speeches, awards were presented in various categories to academic staff members who distinguished themselves over the past year through their contributions in scientific publications, projects, art, and social benefit activities. In addition, certificates of achievement were presented to faculty members who received or advanced in academic titles in 2025.

“Golden Star” Pride for the Department of Medical Services and Techniques

During the ceremony, Lecturer Pelin Zıvdır Yeşilyurt from the First and Emergency Aid Program was awarded the “Golden Star Researcher Award” within the scope of the Upper-Tier Research Awards. She was recognized for her outstanding academic studies published in prestigious international Q1 and Q2 indexed scientific journals.
