Hosted by Mersin University, the “2nd Workshop on Combating Addiction for University Students in Mersin” was held with the participation of Lecturer Kübra YALABUK, in collaboration with the Addiction Prevention Commission of Tarsus University, our students, and regional universities. The workshop aimed to raise awareness about addiction, develop solution-oriented approaches, and strengthen interdisciplinary interaction.

During the workshop, the individual, social, and psychosocial dimensions of addiction were discussed, while students’ perspectives, experiences, and proposed solutions regarding the issue were evaluated. Centered on collective wisdom and a culture of collaboration, the event made significant contributions to ongoing efforts in combating addiction.
