“Under the leadership of Lecturer Dr. Büşra Gök, a technical visit was organized in collaboration with the Mersin 112 Emergency Call Center Directorate. Within this scope, our students gained insights into the operation and structure of call centers, which play a critical role in ensuring the right to life, the foundation of human rights. Explanations were provided regarding the workflow from the receipt of an emergency call to its resolution. The working processes of call centers, which also represent a potential employment area after graduation, were conveyed to the students. Our students witnessed the handling of emergency calls firsthand and benefited from the experiences of call center staff. Happy Human Rights Week!”
